Gucci,
I love my new Gucci Driving shoes, which I paid $410 USD for in Cambridge
Ma, last month. I didn't even wear them out of the house as I was saving
them for my trip to London and Greece (where they replaced my well worn 3
year old Bally drivers which have served me well all over the world). I am
sad to say that when I checked the bottoms this morning I found that they
are promptly wearing out after about 2 days use and 1 mile trekking around
London in dry weather. This is pretty sad, I knew they likely would not hold
up as long as the Bally's, but 400 dollars for literally a few days of shoe
is really bad even for a Luxury item. Is there anything you can do for me to
keep a customer that could be a loyal and lifelong one, or am I doomed to be
ignored by a massive faceless corp? I hope you can resolve this.
The 1st picture is of the damage to the bottom rear of the shoe.
The second shows how new they are, the insides are still pristine leather.
They were purchased at the Tannery, Cambridge MA, last month.
Sincerely,
